EDU-110 Exploring Teaching 3 cr: Introduces the
concerns and activities of beginning teachers. The focus is
on developing generic teaching skills applicable from
preschool through high school. Microteaching is used to
stimulate actual teaching situations. Case studies are used
to discuss common teaching problems. This class is a
Williamsburg High School class and is shared onsite with
the English Valleys and Iowa Valley High Schools.

to create professional quality documents, such as one-
page bulletins or short newsletters, using desktop publishing
software, Adobe in Design and Photoshop. Students will
learn to integrate text, graphic and image file previously
created in other software applications.

WEL-331 - Welding Fundamentals 2 cr: Covers basic
welding techniques iwth oxyacetylene and electric welders.
Designed for the general tradesperson working in the areas
of mechanics and automotive technology. Students are
introduced to a variety of welding situations including cutting,
brazing and various welding positions on lighter guages of
metal and basic fabrication. Offered first semester.

concepts and theories in shielded metal arc welding.
