Fall 2011 PSEO Kirkwood Registration Deadline is July 29, 2011

How do I get the textbooks for the courses?

Textbooks are provided to the students free of charge. The cost of any textbook in a Senior Year Plus class should seem invisible to the high school student. Success in any class is directly connected to having the textbooks in the students' hands the first day of class.

All academy and onsite classes will have the textbook available the first day of the class.  These books are provided by the students' school, just like their other high school classes.  PSEO course textbooks are picked up by the student in their high school counselor's office by the first scheduled day of class. The Williamsburg High School participates in PSEO classes at the Iowa County Center and they may pick them up at the center office. The final day of PSEO registration, July 29th for Fall 2011 registration and December 15th for Spring 2012, is the date that guarantees the delivery of the books by the first day of class.

If a student does not return a PSEO textbook to the counselor's office at the completion of the course, the student will be billed for the cost of the book. Williamsburg High School students are under the same regulation but need to return them to the Kirkwood Iowa County Center. Books are the property of Kirkwood and are loaned to the student for the duration of the academic semseter. PSEO books that are not returned to Kirkwood by the deadline will be charged directly to the student's account. The return of all academy and onsite class books fall under the student's high school's textbook return policy.
